Nostalgia Coffee

NOSTALGIA COFFEE CONCEPT
BRAND IDENTITY
PACKAGING

Nostalgia is a Hong Kong specialty coffee roaster and café that brews the past into the present. Each cup carries echoes of people, places, and rituals that ground daily life. The packaging reimagines the city’s fading tile mosaics, once lining stairwells and corner cafés, bringing them into modern coffee rituals. They spark recognition like the aroma of a fresh brew.

The name is a tribute to Hong Kong’s bittersweet longing for the past where 懷舊 isn’t just sentimentality. It’s about cherishing life’s small details: the texture of a tiled wall, the smell of butter melting into a fresh pineapple bun, the hum of a dai pai dong at dusk.

PATTERNS / COLOR PALETTE

Each bean or blend is packaged in a retro Hong Kong tile pattern. The colors are chosen according to the tasting notes for the respective coffee. For example, the first pattern below is for the Benso Alo Bona beans whose tasting notes include orange peel, orange blossom, strawberry, and  citron tea.
